Mission Statement

The North Carolina Walking Horse Association strives to:

• preserve and advance the general welfare of Tennessee Walking Horses;
• foster appreciation for the beauty and versatility of the breed;
• benefit Walking Horse owners, trainers and breeders;
• encourage participation in the riding and exhibiting activities that contribute to a lifestyle enjoyed by children and adults; and
• understand, interpret, and comply with industry regulations and guidelines.
