Mission Statement
The North Carolina Walking Horse Association strives to:
- preserve and advance the general welfare of Tennessee Walking Horses;
- foster appreciation for the beauty and versatility of the breed;
- benefit Walking Horse owners, trainers and breeders;
- encourage participation in the riding and exhibiting activities that contribute to a lifestyle enjoyed by children and adults; and
- understand, interpret, and comply with industry regulations and guidelines.
Please note that the Tazewell County Classic show date is July 31 - not the 24th as in the calendar. The Green Co. Show scheduled for Sept. 18 has moved to July 3. Kanawha Valley Show date change from August 14th to August 7th. New show in Fieldale, VA on August 21.
